Beppu Hatto Onyado Nono Beppu

We love everything about this place. We wanted to experience a traditional ryokan and onsen bath and were very happy to have chosen here. The onsen bath (both private and public) was so serene and relaxing. The kids loved the free yogurt drinks and ice-cream. And the location is so convenient as it is next to the train station. Truly a relaxing wonderful stay. Looking forward to staying at this hotel chain in other locations.

The front desk staff and restaurant workers were great. Courteous and polite. The breakfast buffet was well worth it. It offered a large selection of delicious dishes. The dinner buffet was good but I had expected a better variety of dishes after enjoying the breakfast buffet. I enjoyed both the public and private onsen. The seven private onsen are on a first come, first serve basis. Unlike other hotels, the private onsen are free of charge.

As soon as you enter the front door, you need to roll your luggage over a couple of mats to clean the wheels and remove your footwear before entering the lobby. The person at the entrance providing instructions didn't speak English well and seemed upset when I didn't understand his instructions.

Breakfast was incredible. Didn't come with our plan but we paid for it and was worth it. We have been staying at Dormy Inn Hotells everytome we come to Japan for the past 2 years

The hotel is very new and all equipments are great. Staff are incredibly friendly and courteous. Onsen facility is great, all the freebies like the popsicles, yogurt drinks, night ramen, and in room drinks and pudding are so wonderful. And they are not that expensive compared to surrounding hotels. Awesome value.

Conveniently located near the train station. Highway bus stop to Kumamoto/Yufuin is also beside the hotel. Hotel has 8 private onsen and a public onsen. There is unlimited free serving of ice-cream and Yakult drink outside the resting area of onsen. Also serve free simple ramen for supper. The Family Room is separated into 2 rooms, each with own TV and air-con, and shared toilet. Free coffee machine and microwave are available beside hotel lobby. There are also washing machine and drier. Shoes are not allowed in hotel (similar to other onsen hotel) and is stored downstairs locker. Beppu Tokiwa shopping center is withing walking distance. Hotel staff is very friendly and able to converse in English.

Private onsen queue is very long around 6pm onwards. But able to use tv to check the queue status. Status of washing machine can also be checked though TV. The breakfast is ok, not fabulous, maybe to cater for local taste. Same items are served daily.

Excellent. They thought about everything. It is decorated as a ryokan, but it is a new hotel with extra facilities. Great location, comfortable room.

The hotel features 7 private onsen rooms which can be used first come first serve. Location is excellent as it is next to Beppu Station. Breakfast is expensive but not many items, and always need to wait for seats. The buffet line is small as compared to same price-ranged hotel restaurants.

Only “advice” i would have is when entering there are signs of what to do like cleaning your luggage wheels/ taking off your shoes etc. There were many people when we entered blocking the way and so we didnt see the signs and were confused and got “reprimanded” . So when we entered we were feeling bad before even arriving to the room

Amazing room and onsen. It was so relaxing! Good and varied buffet breakfast.Literally 2 minutes from the train station! There is also free ice-cream, yakult and other things according to the time of the day. I really enjoyed my stay ? and the panoramic view... and the massage chairs. Lots of towels and a quiet room with a proper blackout curtains situation, unlike many other places across Japan.

Too many small children. 2 times I found diapers in the private onsen trash can... the smell was awful but at least limited to the changing area. The onsen was still great! If you have tattoos, you need to cover to use the public onsen or just use the private one free of extra charge. I personally think that the private onsen is more relaxing anyway ? there's 7 of them!

We love everything. They even have free ramen which was so good. They have the private onsen which our family was able to do together.

Location is good, 3mins walk from JR Beppu station. Breakfast is great, providing almost all the varieties of Japanese food. I will try the dinner my next visit for sure.

Hotel had agreed for an early check-in against a payment.The staff were exceptionally friendly and obliging. Cleanliness was beter than par. Were able to use the private onsen area so that was pleasing. The free ice candy was appreciated. Although we dod not have the free ramen soup provided for between 22.00 and 23.00 hrs saw a lot of people using the offer. Breakfast had a very good variety. Miore local but also some omlettes, cold meat, croissant, etc

That the information of the agreed check-in was not with the check-in agent.Offered room looked into the neighbouring building (room 328) and had to pay money to shift to a room without anybody looking into our room (room 1105). Also that they charged me to switch because we had used the room and they had to clean it. All textbook replies.
